Who operates this site and what this notice covers
Star Dental PLLC operates Denver Dental Help. This notice covers information processed while delivering and securing this information hub. It does not replace Star Dental’s separate website privacy policy and HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which explain information handling when you contact the dental office, request care, or become a patient.
Information handled by the current website
The current build does not create accounts, store a patient profile, or accept a native form submission. Hosting and security services may receive ordinary delivery data such as IP address, browser and device characteristics, requested page, approximate location inferred from an IP address, referring page, request time, and error, performance, or security events. The site operator may receive aggregated technical information from those providers when needed to operate, troubleshoot, secure, or improve the service.
Why technical information may be used
Technical information may be processed to deliver the requested page, remember necessary service settings, protect the site from abuse, diagnose errors, maintain availability, understand broad service performance, comply with law, and establish or defend legal rights. Denver Dental Help limits processing to information reasonably needed for those purposes and will not intentionally reuse it for an unrelated purpose without first updating this notice and providing any choice or consent required by law.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
The Denver Dental Help application does not intentionally install Google Analytics, advertising pixels, retargeting tools, or nonessential cookies. Necessary hosting, security, or load-balancing technology may still be used to deliver and protect the site. The current public host may set a short-lived cookie named __cf_bm, managed by Cloudflare for security and automated-traffic management; Denver Dental Help does not intentionally use it for analytics or advertising. If analytics, advertising, embedded media, call tracking, or other nonessential measurement is added later, the data map, this notice, and any legally required consent or opt-out controls must be updated before activation.
What happens when you use an external action
A phone link is handled by your device, carrier, and the call recipient. If you call, email, or open Star Dental’s outside appointment page, Star Dental and its service providers may receive your contact details and the contents of the call, message, or request; those systems are governed by Star Dental’s website privacy policy and, when applicable, its HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. A map link opens Google. Some Star Dental links include a referral tag identifying Denver Dental Help as the source, but the tag does not contain a diagnosis or patient name. This hub does not store a copy of an outside appointment form. Unrelated resources control their own privacy practices.
Sensitive dental information and the HIPAA boundary
Do not send medical histories, records, photographs, member numbers, payment details, or appointment information to an editorial or accessibility mailbox. Information you provide directly to Star Dental for treatment, payment, or health-care operations may be protected health information and is addressed by the practice’s HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. A website notice or cookie choice is not a HIPAA authorization, and this page does not make a blanket claim that every item of website data is protected by HIPAA.
Service providers and disclosure categories
Limited technical data may be processed by providers that host, deliver, maintain, or secure the website and by professional advisers or authorities when reasonably necessary for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or compliance purposes. Denver Dental Help does not currently sell personal information or use personal information for targeted advertising. It does not intentionally disclose public-site browsing information to advertising networks.
Security, retention, and service providers
Administrative and technical safeguards are used to reduce unauthorized access, but no website or transmission can promise absolute security. Hosting and security providers retain technical logs according to their service configurations and legal requirements. Star Dental retains technical information it receives only as long as reasonably necessary for delivery, security, troubleshooting, legal compliance, and recordkeeping, then deletes or de-identifies it when it is no longer needed for those purposes. Retention can vary by record type and legal obligation.
Children and family use
This is a general-audience resource intended for adults, parents, caregivers, and families and is not designed to collect information directly from children under 13. A child should not email personal information or use an outside appointment form without a parent or guardian. The current hub does not intentionally request a child’s birth date, precise location, health history, or profile for advertising.
Privacy choices, requests, and appeals
Depending on the law and the information involved, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy, or object to certain uses. Because the current site does not sell personal information or use targeted advertising, it does not display a sale or targeted-advertising opt-out control. If those practices change, applicable opt-out controls and recognized universal opt-out signals must be addressed before use. To make a request, email info@mystardental.com, call 303-222-1414, or write to Privacy Officer, Star Dental, 1490 S Sheridan Blvd, Suite 102, Denver, CO 80232. Identify Denver Dental Help and do not include clinical details. Identity may be verified proportionately before a request is completed. To appeal a response, use the same channel, write “privacy appeal,” and identify the original request and the part of the response you want reviewed. Star Dental will respond as required by applicable law. If Colorado law gives you a further complaint right, you may contact the Colorado Attorney General.
Changes to this notice
This notice will be revised when the site begins collecting information in a new way, changes vendors or purposes materially, adds a form, analytics, advertising, call tracking, or embedded media, or when applicable legal duties change. Material changes will be reflected before the new practice begins and communicated through the site when required. The published notice reflects current practices without placing freshness dates throughout patient guides.
QUESTIONS PATIENTS ASK
Common questions
Does Denver Dental Help collect my dental history?
Not through the current site itself. If you call or leave for a provider’s appointment form, that provider and its service partners handle the information you provide.
Does this site use advertising cookies?
The site does not intentionally set analytics or advertising cookies. This statement is rechecked whenever hosting, embeds, analytics, or marketing systems change.
Does Denver Dental Help sell personal information?
The current build does not operate a sale or targeted-advertising program. Routine service providers may still process technical information to deliver and protect the site.
Is Star Dental’s privacy practice the same as this site’s?
The same legal operator is identified, but different rules and systems may apply. This notice covers the information hub. Star Dental’s website privacy policy and HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices explain its appointment, patient, dental-record, billing, and other clinical information practices.
Where do I request a copy or correction of my dental record?
Use the Star Dental Privacy Officer contact in the practice’s HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. Do not send dental records or detailed health information to a Denver Dental Help editorial or accessibility report.
